Schulze aka Detest has been producing and playing his music since 2005.
Hehas gotten great inspiration from producers such as Hellfish, Producer, Radium, The Speed Freak, Enduser and Rotator. His music is also influenced by a wide range of styles such as hardcore, breakcore, dnb, electro, mash up, punk, dubstep and hip hop. Detest likes to include melodies in his productions as it is a great tool to spark emotion in the crowd, but he points out that his melodies are far different from the typical mainstream Dutch hardcore sound. So far Detest has released on Rebelscum, Strike Records, Violent Recordings, hART?de.FAKte and his latest release is coming out on Deathchant, a highly respected label in the hardcore scene. His double vinyl release "The Massacre", which was released in 2006 on Strike Rec., is also a notable release as it features remixes by the legendary producers Hellfish, Lenny Dee and Bong-Ra. Detest has performed in Germany, Holland, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and now for the first time in Finland! Gonzalo Gomez aka DJ Schmerz is the creator of Gabbermex, the first Mexicancollective focused on the sounds of hardcore techno and related styles. Schmerz has spinned records since the year 2000 and his style is based in darkcore, artcore, gabber, hardcore techno, speedcore and breakcore among others. Besides dj'ing he has also been producing music since 2002 and used to host a hardcore radio show through Toxicpro Radio. He has played in Mexico's main underground venues as well as in Göteborg in Sweden. Schmerz moved to Helsinki recently and he will be performing now for the first time here at Brainbashers! |
